Our centers are UCAOA Accredited, open 7 days a week and offer X-Ray, EKG, and point of care lab testing on site.
Description:
Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses and injuries
Evaluation and treatment of the occupational medicine patient
Assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient with minor illnesses
Follow basic clinical care standards and practice evidence-based medicine
Orthopedic injury management
Complete chart documentation using an EMR
Prescribe medications
License:
License: NY physician license (Required) Respective State License for medical practice
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional patient care.
Evaluate and medically treat patients abiding by all regulatory guidelines, as applicable to your license.
Oversee and manage delivery of all medical services by medical staff while on
Oversee/collect biological specimens and process them, when needed, for testing.
Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using our EMR system.
Prescribed and/or dispense common medications for urgent care patients.
Consult with the physician on call in the event of complex medical cases and when patients may need referral to a specialist or the emergency department
Requirements:
Unrestricted, active, and current medical state license to practice.
Unrestricted, active, and current DEA number/license, if applicable to your license
Excellent communicator
Sense of urgency
Accustomed to tight deadlines
Fast paced environment.
Providing highest levels of patient satisfaction
Comfortable with the evaluation and management of all age groups
Excellent bedside manner, customer satisfaction skills and solid clinical judgment
EKG and X-ray reading ability
Multiple years experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
BLS/ACLS/PALS certified
